Where to Get Your Electronics Online

In todays fast paced world getting what we want how we want it has become the motto of most of us. Call it the Burger King mentality if you will, "My Way Right Away, and in this frame of mind we have traditionally spent more for things than in times past. But oh how times are a changing? With gasoline at all time highs every day and with it the cost of everything else we are tempted to forego most of the impulse buys that have moved our economy for years. At the same time our technological advances make it neccesary to update our home computers, game systems and even our cell phones. So how in this economic time can we keep up and not break the bank? I can give you a couple of ideas that have worked for our average working family over the past couple of years.

The first place I always look is on Ebay. There has been loads of complaints lately about increased fees and such but I have found that all in all it has not hurt the quantity of auction items available. The prices have increased on shipping, but that is to be expected and a few minutes of camparitive shopping on the site will tell you who is padding their shipping cost and who is not.

While ebay would be the first place I look my favorite site would have to be Newegg. This site has it all, from combo deals that allow point and click to purchase a new home computer to the ability to custom build a system specific to your needs. The site is absolutely user friendly but be careful to check compatibility of components should you decide to build your own. But wait the fun does not end there! Along with every computer accesory that I have ever heard of they also have digital cameras and accessories, laptops, game systems and cell phones just to name a few. This site truly has it all. I know that this post reads like an advertisement but I assure you all my rave is from personal experience. We custom built our home computer from the ground up with just a little help from my brother. All of our order was delivered in a timely and assembly was quite simple. Important to note my brother did help us with assembly but he is not a computer technician he achieved all his knowledge through tinkering with his own systems. All in all our experience with newegg was top notch and without complaint.
