Buying Computer Parts Cheap!

You may think you have to be a computer geek to replace parts in your home pc. While you will have to gain some knowledge about the process you will not have to get a college degree.

You can easily replace computer parts once you know a little about your particular model. Simply google your computer brand and model and you will come up with a lot of information you will need in order to upgrade memory or increase the size of your hard drive.

Learning the compatibility issues and a few basic terms is all you will need to buy simple computer parts. You can even call your local computer geek to find out what kind of memory your computer has, what processor is compatible and so on.

The fun part now is beating the price you would have to pay locally. There are a few decent ways to find computer parts cheap. The first is to know what websites to visit. One of the best computer parts and accessory sites on the web is Newegg. Here you will find all kinds of computer parts and the best part is they generally come in much cheaper than retail.

Another great site you can use to order computer parts is Geeks dot com. Their prices are fantastic! A processor, heat sink and fan that retailed for over $150 cost just over $70 with shipping and handling! That is a savings of over half, not to shabby in anyones book.

Finally you can often find good deals at Ebay. However you should use caution when shopping in this forum for computer parts. You really want to know the ins and outs of computer parts, because every once in awhile you will be dealing with a seller who is unaware of what kind of computer part he or she has. Be cautious and ask questions before bidding.

Computer technology has come a long way in a short time and will continue to evolve, however that does not mean the average person has to be forced to pay astronomical prices for computer parts and repair.

Wii- The Perfect Gift

Gaming has gone to all new heights with the introduction of the Nintendo Wii. While this product has been on the market for awhile and is not really considered news anymore, the company is constantly adding new games and features.

Gift getting time is coming down to the wire but just in case you are like thousands of others who have not managed to finish yet here is a few words on the Nintendo Wii.

In the world of gaming you have three major competitors, Sony Playstation, Microsoft XBOX and the Nintendo Wii. All will have games that release specifically for their systems and a few different applications they are basically the same, except for the Wii.

You see both Sony and Microsoft have a gaming platform where you can play a wide variety of games both online and off and most games will release for both systems. Children can sit in front of either of these game platforms and play for hours. The key word in that sentence was SIT! No movement except in their little fingers and eyes, not exactly the most healthy scenario.

Enter Nintendo Wii the game system that gets kids up on their feet to play. Boxing games, bowling and a multitude of others all require little Johnny to get up and swing his arms in order to control the game. The innovation is in the Nintendo Wii controller, it senses movement and that movement is translated to the charecter on the screen.

Another great thing about this system is the Nintendo Wii Fit system. This is created for kids and parents alike as a way to get in shape and have fun while doing so. This system is fast selling out and from customer reviews you can see why. On Amazon there have been over 600 customer reviews, 579 of them gave the Nintendo Wii Fit a four out of five stars and the majority was five out of five.

Nintendo Wii has done what the other two cannot, created a system that does not compete! What that means is their idea is so different that people are buying a Nintendo Wii in addition to their other gaming system. Something you will rarely find Playstation or XBOX owners doing. The games are so similar with those two there is no need to purchase both.

Nintendo Wii has overcome the brand loyalty and created a new gaming audience, those who own two completely different systems!

Playstation 3

Tis the season for gift giving and if you are like many people you are struggling with what to get and where to get it. Why not give eBay a shot this Christmas season? As you can see from the banner at the right Playstation 3 systems and games are a popular items.

Playstation 3 is the latest installment in the Sony line of gaming systems. This new system actually released about two years ago in the United States, Playstation 3 is still the most sought after game system.

What makes Playstation 3 stand out from other similar systems is the on board blue ray player. This among other things have made playstation outpace X-Box 360 even though it is priced much lower than the playstation 3.

Fun online play and tons of free downloadable demos makes this a better buy for the buck. However if four hundred dollars is a bit much for you to shell out this holiday season consider purchasing you Playstation 3 on eBay instead.

Already have your playstation 3 but have had problems with it after the warranty ran out? Purchase a system for parts on eBay starting for as little as $20.00! Never hurts to have back up parts for an expensive gaming system.

All in all we love our playstation 3! We bought ours last year and needless to say it has seen many hours of play. So far we have had no issues with the playstation we purchased and like I said we have had it awhile. We love the graphics and especially the built in Blue Ray player. Now we can upgrade to blue ray movies without the cost of a player.
